Support Worker Specialist

We are seeking an experienced support worker to join our team in a special school for children and young people with Autism.
The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable young people and be able to work alongside the class teacher to provide 1-2-1 support during lessons.
This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and bubbly individual who can help make the classroom a fun and exciting environment.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology, and any experience working with Autism would be beneficial.
Salary Information:We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality education and support to students.
- Build strong relationships with all pupils and cater to their social and emotional needs.
- Help manage challenging behaviour and ensure each pupil is engaged and focused in class.
- Relevant degree in Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology.
- Experience working with Autism, either professionally or personally.
- Enthusiastic and bubbly individual with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
