Graduate Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to support pupils facing mental health and emotional difficulties, as well as trauma.
About the RoleAs a Graduate Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with specialist staff and teachers to identify pupil needs and triggers, and help them to overcome their challenges. You will provide consistent support, develop trusting relationships, and empower pupils to make positive decisions.
You will work with pupils in and out of the classroom, using trauma-informed practices to increase academic performance and reduce anti-social behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils in overcoming mental health and emotional difficulties
- Collaborate with specialist staff and teachers to identify pupil needs and triggers
- Provide consistent support and develop trusted relationships with pupils
- Encourage pupils to make positive decisions and reduce anti-social behaviors
- Recent Psychology or Criminology graduate
- Passionate about helping vulnerable children
- Caring nature and ability to work with children or vulnerable adults
- Knowledge of Psychology or Criminology beneficial

Salary and Benefits£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a competitive salary.
