Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable students?
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Mental Health Assistant to join our Specialist SEN School in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to students throughout the school day, aiding their academic learning and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with on-site Psychologists and Therapists to create a safe and supportive environment for each child to thrive.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Graduate (Psychology or Criminology preferred) to further their experience in the mental health field. You will gain direct insight into how trauma manifests in behavior and the therapeutic practices used to address this.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students' academic learning and interpersonal skills
- Foster a safe and supportive environment
- Liaise with on-site Psychologists and Therapists
The successful candidate will have a Graduate degree in Psychology or a related field, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are passionate about mental health and education, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
