About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Theresa House and Hamlets Way services in Tower Hamlets. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our customers with enduring mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers with dignity and respect in aspects of their day-to-day living, including social and physical activities, medication, shopping, and benefit entitlements.
  • Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager.
  • Conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks, and agree levels of support and actions.
  • Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the local community.
  • Support customers to undertake domestic tasks, including practical assistance where necessary.
About You

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a natural ability to be well-organized. You should be flexible, open to feedback and self-development, and thrive in dynamic and diverse environments.

Requirements
  • Up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in the social care/charity sector.
  • Desirable: experience working in mental health.
