We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FDI Authorised Person to join our team at VINCI Facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing sites across Surrey and Hampshire, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of planned and response maintenance, in conjunction with billable works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with JSP375 and provide professional and technical support to the site team, Supply Chain, DIO, and end users.
  • Assess the competence of Skilled Persons and review experience and performance regularly.
  • Produce high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements and issue safety programmes and Permits to Work as required.
  • Manage project work, confer with the Billable Works team, and ensure all works are completed to the required standards.
  • Review site risk registers, follow maintenance and management processes, and notify Management of any defects on equipment or systems.
  • Liaise closely with Authorised Engineers, take ownership of personal training plans, and maintain accurate records within personal logbooks.
  • Identify opportunities to support the MoD's carbon reduction targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consistent approach to delivering JSP375 requirements across the contract.
  • Support the Helpdesk in responding to requests for professional and technical advice.
  • Arrange training and provide supervision, assessment, and coaching for Skilled Persons.
  • Manage cost and stakeholder expectations through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • City and Guilds NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Domestic Heating
  • CSCS Card
