EQUANS is looking for a DBUE Supervisor to join our team in Andover on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a negotiable salary depending upon experience, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

Post holders where required will support Training Activities and the movement of equipment for activities other than Emergency Deployment.

They will follow EQUANS corporate practices in all areas with specific emphasis on Health and Safety including Risk assessments, setting to work and toolbox talks ensuring tools are used correctly and adequately maintained and work areas are always kept tidy and free from hazards.

What will you deliver?

Supervise and lead a team of depot staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Assign tasks, establish work schedules, and ensure that team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and professional growth.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Asset Controller and procurement teams to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to optimise productivity and minimise operational costs.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe depot environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Analyse data, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to optimise depot operations.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and targets.
Requirement to travel / stay over to Sizewell ERC.

Who are we looking for?

Credible previous experience of working with plant and diesel engines with an aptitude for mechanical and or electrical understanding. Upon commencement of post a combination of on the job training by a competent authorised person combined with manufacturer training.

Or

credible previous experience of working with plant, engines or machinery and a minimum NVQ2 or city and guilds in an industry related mechanical qualification such as Vehicle Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering. Time served apprenticeship and a higher qualification is desirable but not essential. Upon commencement of post a combination of on-the-job training by a competent authorised person combined with manufactures training.
Post holders will be required to be logical thinkers with the ability to take a measured step by step approach to analyse information and solve problems.
They must be trustworthy with a high level of personal integrity and have the ability to understand and recognise their limits in relation to PMS activities and faults.
They must be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to respond effectively during an emergency situation leading others where required.

This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
