Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £12,000 - £15,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Independent Visitor Volunteer, you will be matched with a child or young person in care and play a vital role in their life. Your primary responsibility will be to provide regular, one-to-one visits and engage in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

You will need to travel to visit the child or young person's home and accompany them to various activities. Mileage and expenses will be reimbursed after each visit.

This role requires a flexible approach, as some travel across East Riding of Yorkshire may be necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to build trust with the child or young person and maintain confidentiality at all times.

A DBS check and medical clearance are mandatory requirements for this position.
