Job Title: Home Vision Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Domiciliary Optical Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with no weekends or bank holidays.
Salary: Up to £26,000 basic salary DOE and a fully expensed company car
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality professional eye care services to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings. You will work closely with an Optometrist to run clinics, conduct eye exams, and provide expert advice on eye care products.
Main Responsibilities:
- To assist the Optometrist in conducting eye examinations and providing expert advice on eye care products.
- To ensure the delivery of high-quality professional eye care services to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.
- To help run clinics and maintain accurate records of patient data.
- To be out and about with the Optometrist most of the time, but also spend some days doing fittings, deliveries, and other tasks.
Requirements:
- A confident driver with a full UK driving licence.
- Optical experience.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 due to working in the care home sector at times.
