We're seeking an experienced Eye Care Team Member to join our team at Specsavers Chelmsford store.

This role involves delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the wider team in the day-to-day running of clinics.

About the Role:
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekend working
  • Holidays: 28 days plus birthday off
  • Uniform: Provided and paid for

Prior experience in optics is necessary for this position.

As an Eye Care Team Member, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued.

Our company provides a foundation for long-term careers, with opportunities to upskill and advance in roles such as Dispensing Optician or Contact Lens Optician.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Listening to patients and providing clear advice on suitable products while following NHS procedures
  • Dispensing lenses, including single vision, bi-focal, and varifocal
  • Carrying out pre-screening examinations and working alongside the team in clinic operations
  • Maintaining excellent customer service at all times

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum.
