SAP Control Engineer 32KV EHV/HV IDNO/DNO

We are seeking an experienced SAP/Control Engineer to join our team at J. Murphy & Sons Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the delivery of all 132KV EHV/HV network operations and control activities.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the delivery of all 132KV EHV/HV network operations and control activities.
- Knowledge on Switching on DNO/iDNO and private network 132KV EHV and HV networks.
- Issuing and receiving of safety documents on the iDNO networks as applicable.
- Supporting the delivery of power outage works, across the plant, and the associated project and contract management skills.
- Electrical 132KV EHV/HV/LV Engineering experience across a wide range of systems.
- Undertaking of engineering studies, O&Ms, technical reports in related to the electricity distribution network.
- Project management of large-scale Data Centres, and Battery Storage sites.
- Developing scoping documentation and Main Connections or Protection Diagrams (MC&P).
- Help on specifying and managing related equipment and plant such as relays, CTs and VTs.
- Review, assess detailed designs including SLDs, AC/DC schematics, and protection system.
- Experience working within an electrical operations 132KV EHV, HV, and LV systems.
- Knowledge of UK electrical practices and standards.
- Knowledge of Standard ICP or Electricity construction.
- Good knowledge of network operation and maintenance.
- Experience of working in electricity distribution networks.
- Procurement of, tendering and management of major service and refurbishment contracts.
- Technical officer, contract management, assigning appropriate work skills to enable delivery.
- Candidates must demonstrably work knowledge of electrical distribution network design and construction standards.
- Working knowledge of the CDM regulations and the role of principal engineer.
