Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in Purchasing to work on a local permanent position within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and SAGE 200, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The salary for this role is £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, plus benefits such as progression opportunities, Monday to Friday working hours, and sick pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order vehicles on time to support production and ensure timely deliveries from suppliers.
- Inspect and log vehicles, handling any discrepancies and assisting with vehicle condition reports.
- Keep records updated for Finance, Sales, and Production.
- Stay informed about vehicle specifications and pricing, and manage sub-contractors and purchase orders.
- Allocate vehicles from sales orders and ensure they are released with the required dates.
Requirements:
- A Junior Buyer or similar background in Purchasing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and SAGE 200.
- Ability to commute to Thatcham.
