Mental Health Therapies Pathway Psychologist Role

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing high-quality mental health services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assistant Psychologist to join our MK Community Mental Health Hub Therapies Pathway team.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Psychologist to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting adults with complex mental health presentations. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with qualified Psychologists and other professionals to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions.
Main Responsibilities- To support and enhance the professional psychological care of service users within Milton Keynes Community Mental Health Hub Therapies Pathway.
- To work in conjunction with Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) members to support service users and qualified health professionals in the delivery of evidenced-based psychological interventions.
- To conduct individual psychological assessments, formulate interventions, and provide therapeutic support to individuals and groups.
- To contribute to clinical related administration, audit projects, collection of outcome measures and statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, and project work.
We are looking for a motivated and self-directed individual with a good honours degree in psychology (2:1 or above), eligibility for graduate membership of the BPS, and experience of working therapeutically with people experiencing mental health problems. You should have previous experience of working as a paid Assistant Psychologist in a community setting, delivering individual psychological assessments/formulations/interventions in a mental health setting, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.

- Previous experience working therapeutically with people experiencing mental health problems
- Previous experience of working as a paid Assistant Psychologist in a community setting
- Experience of delivering individual psychological assessments/formulations/interventions in a mental health setting
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
As a successful candidate, you can expect to earn an estimated salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
