About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our South East region team at Churchill Living Ltd. As a key member of our commercial function, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the effectiveness of our construction activities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare construction budgets, monitor costs, and prepare schedules to ensure the successful delivery of our build programme.
  • Work closely with the Construction/Commercial Director and regional teams to ensure clear and open lines of communication.
  • Provide proactive resource planning and coaching to the commercial team, focusing on personal development and training requirements.
  • Prepare bills of quantities using standard surveying techniques and terminology, as well as familiarity with estimating software packages.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a surveying and estimating field, with a successful track record of operating at a senior level.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage large-scale projects.
  • Hold an appropriate construction or technical degree (HND minimum), with detailed knowledge and understanding of current building regulations, construction methods, and products.
  • Knowledge of Modern Methods of Construction, Construction Law, and Health & Safety regulations is highly desirable.
