IT Security Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Risk Manager to join our team at Staysure Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of IT and technology-related risks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our risk management framework to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date.
- Conduct risk assessments and update risk registers to reflect changing risk landscapes.
- Provide expert advice on IT and technology-related risks to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure risks are managed effectively and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage risk documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhance our risk management system and reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Manage Technology and Business Resilience risk appetites and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Implement robust digital IT and change processes to minimize risk and maximize benefits.
- Coordinate risk management training to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to manage risks effectively.
- Oversee risk event management and root cause analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support the Head of Risk and Governance and Director of Risk and Compliance in their risk management responsibilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our risk management capabilities and processes.
- Relevant IT/Technology risk qualification, such as CISSP or CISM.
- Experience in IT risk management, audit, or control within financial services.
- Understanding of FCA regulation and its implications for IT risk management.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail to ensure effective risk management.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple risks and priorities.
- Effective presentation and influencing skills to engage stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Commercial awareness to understand the business implications of IT risks.
- Experience within the insurance industry, particularly in travel or similar sectors.
- Good understanding of The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and European regulation.
