IT Security Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Risk Manager to join our team at Staysure Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating IT-related risks that could impact our business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our risk management framework to ensure it is aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk registers to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on IT security and risk management best practices.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure risks are managed effectively and continuously improved.
- Manage risk documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Enhance our risk management system and reporting to ensure it is effective and efficient.
- Manage Technology and Business Resilience risk appetites and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Implement robust digital IT and change processes to ensure they are secure and compliant.
- Coordinate risk management training to ensure our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Oversee risk event management and root cause analysis to ensure we learn from our mistakes and improve our processes.
- Support the Head of Risk and Governance and Director of Risk and Compliance in their risk management efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our risk management processes are always evolving and improving.
- Relevant IT/Technology risk qualification, such as CISSP or CISM.
- Experience in IT risk management, audit, or control within financial services.
- Understanding of FCA regulation and its implications on IT risk management.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Effective presentation and influencing skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience within the insurance industry, particularly in travel insurance.
- Good understanding of The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and its implications on IT risk management.
