IT Security Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Risk Manager to join our team at Staysure Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of IT and technology risks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our risk management framework to ensure it is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk registers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on IT and technology risk management.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage risk documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhance our risk management system and reporting to ensure it is effective and efficient.
- Manage Technology and Business Resilience risk appetites and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Implement robust digital IT and change processes to ensure effective risk management.
- Coordinate risk management training to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage risk effectively.
- Oversee risk event management and root cause analysis to ensure that all incidents are properly investigated and mitigated.
- Support the Head of Risk and Governance and Director of Risk and Compliance in their risk management responsibilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that our risk management practices are always evolving and improving.
- Relevant IT/Technology risk qualification, such as CISSP or CISM.
- Experience in IT risk management, audit, or control within financial services.
- Understanding of FCA regulation and its application to IT risk management.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective presentation and influencing skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience within the insurance industry or similar sector experience.
- Good understanding of The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and European regulation.
