About This Role

As the Commercial Director - Healthcare, you will lead and manage a regional sales team focused on driving growth within the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy, budget, and goals for your region. Your leadership will be instrumental in motivating and guiding your team to achieve ambitious commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the healthcare market, encompassing account growth and new business development.
  • Establish and manage a regional sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the healthcare industry, including hospitals, clinics, and medical device manufacturers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an MBA or advanced technical degree is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing sales teams within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior-level executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare market, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and key players.
