Nutreco, a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions and animal nutrition, is seeking a visionary leader to drive commercial success in the ruminant nutrition sector. As Ruminant Director GB, NI & ROI, you will be responsible for implementing a tailored commercial strategy for the Ruminant species within the region, aligning with our strategic marketing department and organizational objectives.
Your primary focus will be on identifying pockets of growth and turning sustainability challenges into opportunities with strategic foresight. You will lead a team of technical and sales professionals, inspiring a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Your guidance will empower team members to achieve sustainable success.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be set and achieved, with continuous monitoring and implementation of corrective actions as needed. Stakeholder engagement will be crucial in building and maintaining relationships across the value chain to foster strategic partnerships and alliances.
You will report to the Ruminants Director Europe and Central Asia (ECA) and be part of the ECA Ruminants Management Team. Additionally, you will assume the role of Country Manager for GB, with statutory responsibility, leading the Country team: Finance Director, Regional Operations Manager, and HRBP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Profit Growth: Achieve annual sales profit targets for the Ruminant species through effective sales strategies, focusing on value-added solutions, sustainability impact, and market penetration.
- Market Share Expansion: Increase market share within UK and Ireland and segments by leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Profitability Improvement: Optimize profitability through effective cost management and pricing strategies aligned with business objectives as sustainability and innovation.
- Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture within the Ruminant team to drive sustainable success and talent development.
- Innovation Leadership: Drive innovation in product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement approaches to maintain a competitive edge in the market, with a focus on developing value propositions with a clear sustainability impact.
Country Manager GB Role:
- Targets: Encourage collaboration between departments, focusing on engagement, compliance, customer satisfaction, and local projects.
- Supports Development: Develop and execute strategies resulting in profitable growth.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree combined with relevant sales trainings.
- Experience: 5 years of managing a regional sales team.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of sustainable animal production (especially in ruminant nutrition) in GB, NI & ROI & EU.
- Skills: Team player with strong negotiation, presentation, contractual, and communication skills, adept at persuasive selling, sales processes, and tools, and in-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials.
