About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team in the East Midlands Division. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day running of the development site, providing clear direction to site staff and ensuring they meet their responsibilities and targets.
  2. Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  3. Motivate and support site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance and maintain high-quality work.
  4. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times, adhering to company standards and expectations.
  5. Deliver all aspects of production requirements in accordance with technical and planning documentation, and any subsequent instructions from time to time.
  6. Conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements, ensuring accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requested.
  7. Maintain accurate site records, including Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions, and health and safety records.
  8. Inspect and ensure remedial work is completed in advance of each NHBC key stage inspection.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  2. Effective team management and leadership skills.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
