About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Rheumatology Team as a Therapy Audit Coordinator. This is a part-time opportunity that will play a key role in assisting the team in safely monitoring the blood results of patients who have been prescribed disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating the database, recording changes to drugs, and using different sources of information to ensure the system operates safely. Additionally, they will provide administrative support to the TNF Co-ordinator and occasionally assist Med Secs in an emergency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor blood results of patients prescribed disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs
  • Update the database and record changes to drugs
  • Use different sources of information to ensure the system operates safely
  • Provide administrative support to the TNF Co-ordinator
  • Assist Med Secs in an emergency
Requirements
  • Excellent administrative skills, including basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Highly motivated and able to act on initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Rheumatology
