Job DescriptionThis Part Time Assistant Service Manager role at Avenues Group involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service in Horley, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our service users. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of support staff, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring efficient delivery of care and support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each service user.
- Supervise and mentor support staff to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of service user progress and staff performance.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in social care, preferably in a senior or management role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of sector-relevant legislation and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks effectively.
