South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate 111 Health Advisor to join our team in Crawley. As a key member of our 24/7 service, you will provide vital support to patients and families, offering expert advice and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same. As a 111 Health Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for patients calling our service, providing empathetic and professional support to those in need. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and families, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674, with the potential to earn up to £28,000 per annum.
  • Unsocial hours enhancements for working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • 35 days' annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays (pro rata).

Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications) at Grade C or above (2018 Grade 4).
  • Previous experience working with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
