Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:
Newrest is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect products for quality, quantity, date, and temperature.
- Ensure products are stored in the correct warehouse or departmental location.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and rotate stock to maximize shelf life.
- Conduct weekly stock counts for ordering purposes.
- Adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines at all times.
- Perform safety checks on forklifts before use.
- Record and report food waste and breaks.
- Operate in the chilled section to manage product storage efficiently.
- Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
- Comply with unit safety measures and clean as you go standards.
- Interact with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner.
- Participate in unit Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
- Perform other duties as requested by your manager.
Requirements:
- Forklift license
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent organizational skills
- Good level of English
