Job Summary:

Newrest is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect goods upon delivery to ensure quality, quantity, and date.
  • Accurately place products in the correct warehouse or departmental location.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and rotate stock to maximize shelf life.
  • Conduct weekly stock counts to inform ordering decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH and HACCP regulations at all times.
  • Perform pre-use safety checks on forklifts to guarantee safe operation.
  • Adhere to clean-as-you-go standards and record food waste.
  • Operate in the chilled section to manage product storage efficiently.
  • Interact with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Comply with all unit Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your manager.

Requirements:

  • Forklift license
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills
  • Good level of English
