About the Role
Framlingham Surgery is seeking a dedicated and skilled Health Care Assistant to join our clinical team.
Job Summary
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work closely with the General Practice team to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phlebotomy, spirometry, vaccinations, wound dressings, ECGs, blood pressure checks, and NHS Health Checks in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Support the clinical team with chaperone and minor surgery duties.
- Contribute to the preparation of long-term condition reviews.
- Work collaboratively with the administration and reception teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in Health Care, with GCSE English and Maths Grade A to C.
- Previous experience in the NHS, preferably in a General Practice setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under the direction of the GP's and Practice Nurses.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health Care Assistant role, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
