About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Band 5 Nurse to join our dedicated care team at Rainbows Children's Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people in partnership with them and their families
  • Provide symptom management, palliative, and end-of-life care in a family-centered environment
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with local and national policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification as a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or Registered Nurse for Learning Disabilities (RNLD)
  • Post-registration experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
