We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Empirical Science Audit Specialist to join our team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our Behavioural Risk & Applied Empirical Science Audit team, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of empirical scientific research methods within the team and wider Internal Audit sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage data science and behavioural science colleagues to deliver high-profile evidence-based and data-led pieces of insight.
- Collaborate with audit experts to understand critical business assurance and sustainability questions.
- Develop effective stakeholder relationships and act as first point of contact when leading reviews.
You will work closely with a diverse group of talented and accomplished behavioural and data scientists, identifying opportunities for innovation, gathering resources, and owning implementation. Your expertise in empirical social science design and execution, including statistics, causal inference, and data science, will be essential in driving the success of this role.
Requirements- Extensive relevant technical and research leadership experience.
- Academic degree in a social science discipline, with a strong quantitative analysis element, or a proven equivalent track record.
- Experience in drawing conclusions from different primary and secondary data sources.
- Clear, concise, and compelling communication skills to inspire others, maintain momentum, and ensure work completion.
