About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and treatments to older adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and treatments to older adults with complex mental health needs
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide consultation and guidance to other professionals on psychological matters
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Significant experience of psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings
- Substantial post-qualification experience working with older people and people with dementia with behaviour that challenges families, carers and networks
