About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and supervision to our team of clinicians, as well as providing high-quality assessment and intervention services to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.

As part of our Neurodevelopmental Pathways team, you will work closely with clinicians, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-based interventions that promote positive outcomes for our clients. You will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff, as well as contributing to the development of our service's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with clinicians, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement care plans
  • Contribute to the development of our service's policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in clinical or counselling psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Formal training in specific therapeutic modality
  • Experience working within CYP mental health
  • Experience working with moderate to severe and complex mental health issues
  • Experience working with ND issues
