Residential Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team at Acorn Lodge, a newly opened children's home for children aged 7-18 with disabilities.
As a Residential Care Officer, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior RCO, with delegated responsibility for more skilled practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, caring, and enabling environment for children in residence.
- Work in co-operation and consultation with children, families, and partner agencies to provide an appropriately flexible service.
- Undertake social care practice duties of a more skilled and difficult nature.
- Participate in shift patterns, including sleep-in duties and working shifts as part of a rota.
Requirements:
- Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and provide support to colleagues.
