About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities in our residential services.

As a Residential Care Officer, you will work closely with our experienced team to create a warm and enabling environment that meets the emotional, social, and physical needs of our young residents.

You will be responsible for delivering care and support based on the principles of quality care, reflecting privacy, dignity, choice, and fulfillment, and independence.

The successful candidate will be willing to undertake any necessary training, including QCF level 3, and will be competent to attend training and implement Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Signs of Safety model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with disabilities in our residential services
  • Work closely with the Residential Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Care Officers to ensure the delivery of quality care
  • Deliver care and support based on the principles of quality care, reflecting privacy, dignity, choice, and fulfillment, and independence
  • Undertake sleep-in duties and work different shift patterns to meet the needs of the service
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
