Residential Child Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Officer to join our team at Doncaster City Council. As a Residential Child Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for looked-after children and young people.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires flexibility, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children and young people. You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a friendly home environment, where every child feels part of the family.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional care and support to looked-after children and young people
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Residential Care Officers to ensure the well-being and safety of children
- Advocate for the children and demonstrate a good parent role
- Participate in rota systems that include weekends and unsocial hours
