Residential Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Residential Care Officer to join our team at Doncaster Council.
About the Role:
As a Relief Residential Care Officer, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Residential Care Officer to provide a warm, caring, and enabling environment for looked-after children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work sensitively as a team member to meet the emotional, social, and physical needs of children and young people.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment, promoting positive relationships and helping children reach their full potential.
- Work a rota consisting of mornings, afternoons, weekends, and bank holidays, including waking nights duties as required.
- Undertake sleep-in duties as needed to meet the needs of the care home.
- Be willing to advocate for children and demonstrate a "good parent role".
