Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Specialist to join our team at Doncaster City Council. As a Residential Child Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing support to vulnerable children and young people in our children's homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment within the children's home, ensuring the physical safety and emotional well-being of the children.
  • Building positive relationships with the children and supporting their individual needs.
  • Nurturing personal development, education, and wider learning of each child, encouraging their growth and helping them reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent) or working towards it.
  • At least 6 months full-time experience of supporting children or young people in care or similar.
