About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agility Lead for Infrastructure Platforms to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our corporate functions, you will play a critical role in fostering agile methodologies and promoting a culture of innovation and high performance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile Transformation: Develop and implement short to mid-term operational and transformation plans to achieve product goals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coach and Mentor Teams: Lead and coach teams to adopt and implement agile methodologies, promoting open communication and engagement among team members to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Identify trends and generate original ideas to contribute to the development of new policies and best practices within the discipline.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the orchestration of key business processes improvements, working across several product areas to ensure consistency in the identification and execution of cross-functional operational excellence initiatives.
  • Culture of Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Lean Roadmaps: Ensure the advancement of lean roadmaps which illustrate where improvements exist within the product lines to enhance operational and delivery performance.
  • Operational Excellence Training: Serve as a partner, facilitator, and trainer on operational excellence topics (solutions and tools) and demonstrate how they are utilized to improve outcomes.
  • Intake Model Refining: Help refine and champion the operational excellence intake model inclusive of opportunity assessments, Kaizen events, and other consultive approaches for engaging business partners.
Requirements
  • Agile Expertise: Experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management.
  • Product Development Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices, enabling effective guidance and support for teams.
  • Agile Delivery: Display advanced knowledge of agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and scaling frameworks, monitoring agility metrics; with the ability to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptability.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization, effectively guiding group discussions and decision-making processes within the domain context.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Experience with lean six sigma, opportunity assessments, value stream identification, and organizational change management.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt or verifiable equivalent experience, PMP certification from the Project Management Institute or verifiable equivalent experience.
  • Frameworks and Tools: Experience with large frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and experience in at least 1 framework, skilled with using innovation competencies such as maker-culture, lean-startup, and design-thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal Training: Formal training on Agile coaching (formal coaching certifications preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma: Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt or verifiable equivalent experience.
  • Industrial Engineering: Industrial engineering experience is a major plus.
  • Agile Guide and Scrum Master: Experienced with the Agile Guide, Scrum Master.
  • Product Owner Certification: Product Owner Certification such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM or PSPO or verifiable equivalent experience.
  • Agile Techniques: Awareness or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Mobbing, working with automation utilities, etc.
