Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the adoption of agile methodologies within our Infrastructure Platforms division at a premier financial institution. As the Agility Lead, you will be pivotal in driving the enhancement and ongoing refinement of Agile practices across our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and mentor teams in the effective implementation of agile methodologies, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Utilize exceptional communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders and convey organizational challenges to leadership.
  • Formulate and execute operational and transformation strategies, prioritizing initiatives and managing resources to meet product objectives efficiently through data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze trends and propose innovative ideas to shape new policies and best practices within the agile framework.
  • Oversee the enhancement of critical business processes, collaborating across various product areas to ensure the successful execution of cross-functional operational excellence initiatives.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement throughout the organization.
  • Advance lean roadmaps that identify areas for enhancement within product lines to boost operational and delivery performance.
  • Act as a partner and facilitator on operational excellence topics, demonstrating effective solutions and tools to improve outcomes.
  • Refine and advocate for the operational excellence intake model, including opportunity assessments and consultative approaches for engaging business partners.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Proven experience in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on coaching teams in agile methodologies and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of various product development lifecycle stages and methodologies, enabling effective team support.
  • Advanced understanding of agile delivery and diverse agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to guide teams through complex projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with lean six sigma methodologies, opportunity assessments, and change management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with large-scale frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
  • Proficient in innovation competencies like lean-startup and design-thinking.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in process mapping, transformation roadmap development, and operating model creation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal training in Agile coaching, with preferred certifications.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in industrial engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience as an Agile Guide or Scrum Master.
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or PSPO) or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with successful Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing.
