Job Summary

We are seeking an eager, diligent Area Sales Manager to join our sales team in the South East of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing business directly with key customers within your geographical area while working closely with our internal teams to ensure our full product range gets full market coverage.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the UK Sales Manager and be responsible for:

  • Managing their own time to maximise face-to-face interaction with potential and existing customers and influencers.
  • Generating opportunities to increase sales through proactive efforts.
  • Following up sales leads provided by others.
  • Raising quotations against enquiries generated and received, operating always within set guidelines on margins and discounts.
  • Providing information on new customers and updating our CRM systems.
  • Supporting colleagues in providing a high-quality service to customers.
  • Contributing to centrally held databases for metalworkers and metal merchants.
  • Assisting and guiding Sales Consultants in making offers and quotations to incoming callers.
  • Making themselves available for meetings as arranged by National Sales Manager or others.
  • Providing field support and technical assistance where required.
  • Participating in product and industry training, both UK and overseas at our European headquarters.

  • A proven track record in a sales role, ideally within the construction or similar industry.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
