Regional Sales Professional

GPS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Regional Sales professional to join the sales team of a leading UK materials handling equipment manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry and be able to develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for selling materials handling equipment solutions to customers in the UK and abroad. They will work closely with internal technical sales teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies.
A key aspect of this role will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally. This will involve building relationships with potential clients, conducting site visits, and providing product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide excellent customer service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven sales experience in the materials handling industry
- Strong understanding of the industry and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We are offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
