Business Process Outsourcing Leadership Opportunity

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a seasoned Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) leader to join our team as an Associate Director. As a key member of our BPO team, you will be responsible for delivering a profitable service line, providing exceptional client service, and fostering a first-class people experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with existing leadership to gain a deep understanding of the business and processes.
  • Lead and inspire a team of professionals in the UK and overseas offices, driving business growth through change and innovation.
  • Support the outsourcing manager group, promoting a culture of coaching, development, and recognition.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to meet business requirements and monitor ongoing resource needs.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to drive sustained and rapid growth.
  • Lead the conversion of new business opportunities, delivering compelling proposals and presentations to prospects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients.
  • Manage team finances and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Lead a portfolio of clients, providing support in growing the practice and internal key stakeholder management.
  • Onboard large and complex assignments, leading where necessary.
  • Escalate client issues, taking the lead in conversations.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA).
  • Extensive experience in team leadership and outsourcing management.
  • Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, UK GAAP / FRS102 / FRS 101.
  • Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax rules.
  • Experience with IFRS is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in global teams.
