Job Description:

A look into the role

As the leader of the Outsourcing function within our UK Business Process Outsourcing team, you will deliver a profitable service line, quality client service and a first-class people experience by:

  • Working closely with the existing leadership to gain a deep understanding of the business and processes
  • Leading and inspiring our people – both in the UK and overseas offices - in driving business growth through change and innovation
  • Supporting the outsourcing manager group, fostering a culture of coaching and development, and recognizing and rewarding great performance
  • Building scale in the team to meet growth requirements and monitoring ongoing resource needs
  • Taking the lead in achieving sustained and rapid growth through effective marketing and business development
  • Leading on the conversion of new business opportunities, delivering proposals and presentations to prospects
  • Being approachable and accessible, providing technical support and guidance
  • Being responsible for team finances and liaising with stakeholders
  • Leading a portfolio of clients, providing support in growing the practice, and internal key stakeholder management
  • Leading on the onboarding of large and complex assignments
  • Being a point of escalation for clients, taking the lead in conversations where required

Knowing you're right for us

Joining us as an outsourcing senior manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA) with:

  • Extensive experience of team leadership
  • Experience of onboarding and managing outsourcing assignments across sectors
  • Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, UK GAAP / FRS102 / FRS 101
  • Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax and employment tax rules
  • Some experience of IFRS would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of working in global teams
