About the Role

The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Voluntary Services Coordinator. This role plays a vital part in developing, supporting, and growing our volunteer workforce to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to fill volunteer gaps in collaboration with managers and external partners.
  • Compile and review volunteer role descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Recruit, interview, and place volunteers based on their skills and experience.
  • Ensure volunteers undergo a thorough recruitment and selection process.
  • Maintain the volunteer database and provide administrative support.
  • Provide relevant information and statistics for monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the Voluntary Services Manager and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Proven administration experience.
  • Experience working with volunteers or as a volunteer.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience dealing with confidential information.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience maintaining databases and producing reports.
