Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead our transformational growth strategy, driving sustainable income and organisational growth. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to shape our business development function, forge key partnerships, and inspire teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership & Strategy: Inspire and lead the Business Development team, implementing strategies that align with income goals and broader organisational growth objectives.
- Income Generation & Partnership Building: Lead efforts in bid writing, partnership creation, and relationship building with commissioners and funders.
- Team Management: Oversee and develop the Business Development team, focusing on maximising income through targeted services.
- Business Development Delivery: Take ownership of managing bids, securing funding, and expanding services within the justice and community sectors.
- Strategic Development & Networking: Represent the organisation at key events, collaborating with Executive colleagues to ensure the mission is fulfilled effectively.
This role requires a deep understanding of commissioning and procurement processes, as well as experience leading successful bids. You will need to have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a talent for persuasive communication across various audiences.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location is England and Wales, with regular travel required to various offices/sites.
