Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at BTC Electronic Components. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure transportation of all shipments, as well as producing all necessary documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with freight agents and couriers to collect shipments and resolve any queries that arise.
  • Provide customers with details of airway bills and other relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to prepare shipping documents.
  • Issue custom clearance instructions for all imports and exports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager/Operations Director.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of export and import requirements, customs procedures, and complexities.
  • Knowledge of international regulations for the carriage of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High level of flexibility to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to comply with company, supplier, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and proactive approach to daily duties.
  • Methodical and consistent approach to ensure high-quality records and entries.
