Children & Young People's Residential Practitioner

Our client, a community interest company, is seeking two full-time Residential Practitioners to work with children and young people in their care. As a Residential Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to thrive.
About the RoleThe Residential Practitioner will work in an all-female Children's Home for 13-to-17-year-olds, providing 24/7 care and support to the young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and nurturing environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and educational well-being of the young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care and support to young people, including daily living skills, education, and leisure activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and group supervision.
- Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
