Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real difference in the lives of young people in our care.

As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health needs, including PTSD, Autism, Psychosis, Depression, OCD, Anorexia, and other non-specific eating disorders.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic programs and plans of care, promoting the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our patients.

This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual care plans under the delegation of a registered practitioner
  • Provide holistic evidence-based practice to patients in line with national and organizational policies
  • Record and report regularly on patient progress and treatment to the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Safely use a range of non-invasive and invasive interventions within the defined scope of the role
  • Support patients to improve and maintain their mental, physical, behavioral health, and wellbeing
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Level 5 Foundation Degree Nursing Associate
  • GCSEs Grade A-C (Grades 4-7) in Maths and English or Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English
  • Understanding of evidence-based practice, the importance of following procedures, and treatment plans
  • Intermediate IT skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers

□ £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
