Job Title: Grant Writer and Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer and Coordinator to lead our efforts in securing funding from trusts and foundations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to increase our income from these sources, with a focus on securing high-value grants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a grants strategy aligned with the charity's strategic objectives and income targets.
  • Research and identify potential funders, and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Write and submit high-quality grant applications, ensuring a strong understanding of the charity's work and impact.
  • Manage and coordinate the grant application process, including tracking deadlines and follow-up communications.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and other stakeholders on grant progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising from trusts and foundations.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
