This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join Integral UK Ltd as a key member of our growing team. As a Sales and Solutions Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing crucial support to our Integral Soft Services business.
The role will be home-based with travel to various locations, allowing you to work independently while collaborating with our team. Your main purpose will be to provide estimating functions on bids, producing robust and accurate pricing in a timely manner and written proposals in line with client requirements and Integral company procedures.
You will develop tailored solutions by analyzing and modeling data to deliver effective and efficient service delivery models. Additionally, you will create a visible and easily understandable audit trail of our costings at the time of tender, allowing us to manipulate the figures considering changing requests from clients and provide clarity on where we have transferred our costs into the client's model.
As a Sales and Solutions Manager, you will provide clear direction and support for other team members, keeping management informed of progress and status. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate estimations are produced in accordance with company process.
- Reviewing, understanding, and completing client pricing requirements.
- Ensuring commercial governance process is adhered to.
- Working with various Integral internal functions to ensure our price offering is suitable to meet both our requirements and those of the client.
- Undertaking site visits and surveys.
- Working closely with the Sales and Solutions Team.
- Ability to work with large and/or incomplete data sets.
- Estimating the cost, materials, and staff required to achieve the client specification.
- Suggesting innovative ways of delivering more for less in the estimating of bids.
- Liaising and engaging with supply chain partners and subcontractors where applicable.
- Evaluating and clearly understanding the details and requirements for each tender.
- Being up to date with the latest estimator techniques and procedures.
- Identifying and sharing innovations from across the business to raise the game in Integral's approach to proposals and business development.
- Reviewing all costings with the operations team and relevant directors, presenting all parties with a clear and concise understanding of the submitted bidding solution and the delivery objectives.
As a Sales and Solutions Manager, you will require:
- A strong educational background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role in the Soft Service Business.
- Excellent understanding of commercial tendering process and associated activities.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of people.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Experience in people management.
- A confident, driven individual who reacts quickly to change.
- Analytical skills able to review data and create bespoke solutions.
- Able to work to tight and strict deadlines.
- To remain calm under pressure.
- Well-organized with a high attention to detail.
