The Role: Health & Safety Advisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to provide ongoing support on a major high-end project in central London. In this role, you will be responsible for producing comprehensive risk assessments and method statements, collaborating closely with site management teams, technicians, and client safety teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising effectively with the client's Health & Safety function and other members of the client team
  • Actively participating in client Health & Safety meetings
  • Providing comprehensive Health & Safety support to the site team
  • Conducting thorough reviews of safe systems of work
  • Attending and providing guidance during safe start meetings
  • Managing day-to-day Health & Safety activities on site
  • Carrying out workplace inspections and reporting findings accurately
  • Investigating accidents and incidents promptly and effectively
  • Overseeing on-site occupational health practices

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proactive safety professional with:

  • Excellent communication skills, proven experience in client-facing roles
  • A strong technical understanding and experience providing Health & Safety support within the construction and building services industry
  • Proficiency in IT with exceptional report writing skills

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in on-site Health & Safety within fit-out or high-end sectors is highly advantageous.
