Regional Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and increasing sales with key accounts across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC Machining / Milling / Mechanical Engineering / Cutting Tools / Production Engineering / Manufacturing, as well as prior experience in business development and sales. They will need to sell a range of CNC accessories, such as tool holders, spindle accessories, modular systems, rotary tables, presetting equipment, and more.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in sales. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 + £85,000 OTE, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car or car allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, a pension scheme, laptop, phone, and a remote-based role covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:- Develop new business opportunities and increase sales with key accounts across the West Midlands and surrounding areas
- Sell a range of CNC accessories
- Interpret technical drawings to provide cost-effective solutions to customers
- Manage a sales pipeline and present to senior clients on products and services
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts in your territory and increase sales with those accounts through regular meetings
- Attend exhibitions and events to network and promote products and services
To be considered for this role, candidates must have prior experience as an Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Engineer, knowledge of CNC accessories, and a full UK driving license. The ability to travel across the West Midlands region and surrounding areas is also essential.
