Nurse in Special Education Settings

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a Specialist School Nurse to join our team at Bedelsford school.
Job OverviewThis is a term-time position, and the salary advertised will be pro rata. The successful candidate will work in a small team within the school, providing clinical nursing care for children and young people with SEND, PMLD, and complex health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Assessing the needs of children and young people with SEND, PMLD, and complex health needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the needs of each child.
- Delivering specialist nursing care, including medication management, wound care, and respiratory care.
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals, education staff, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
